Emilia Burca

Fantasy and science-fiction writer, bilingual — Romanian and French.
A word to the reader

Dear readers, all my stories are born of the same desire: to explore mystery, human fragility and the worlds hidden behind appearances. I write about imperfect characters faced with choices that change their fate. Every book is, for me, an invitation to reflect and to escape the everyday. I hope my texts stir your imagination and make you look at reality from other angles. I do not offer final answers, but questions that keep living beyond the last page. Thank you for choosing, again and again, to step into my world.

Her literary debut came in 2022 with the novel “The Revelation” and its sequel “The Fall of the Angel”, published by Sedcomlibris in Iași. Both also appeared in French as Entre vertu et faiblesse with Le Lys Bleu (Paris), beginning a bilingual publishing path.

In the years that followed Emilia Burca published steadily, building a coherent fictional universe at the meeting point of the fantastic, metaphysical reflection and ethical questioning. Her titles include “The Stranger in Me” and Le Dompteur des réalités (2023), “The Tiger’s Eye” and Œil de tigre (2024), “The Age of Aquarius” and L’Ère du Verseau (2024), “The Archive of Memories” and L’Archive des souvenirs (2025), and the prose collection “Grandpa Crow’s Tales” / Les Contes de Papi Corbeau (2025) — all published by C’ARTE in Paris.

In 2025 the author’s entire body of novels was translated into Russian in digital format, confirming the international reach of her writing. Emilia Burca’s prose combines speculative elements with a deep symbolic and moral dimension, exploring identity, destiny, power, sacrifice and human fragility in a perspective that crosses conventional genre boundaries.
